1) Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Position 

Project Title: Disposable Strip Kit for Early and Non-Invasive Diagnosis of Chronic Kidney Disease 

Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the project titled “Disposable Strip Kit for Early and Non-Invasive Diagnosis of Chronic Kidney Disease ”. The selected candidate will be involved in biosensor  development, microfabrication and electrochemical sensing studies, along with synthesis and characterization of functional nanomaterials related to diagnostic applications.  The Project majorly focus on Biosensor Device development and integration with  Microfluidics technology.

Essential Qualifications:
• M.Sc. in Physics, Materials Science, or Chemistry (with valid GATE score)
OR
• B.Tech./M.Tech. in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (valid GATE score required for B.Tech. candidates)

Desirable Experience:
• Electrochemical biosensors
• Microfabrication / Microfluidics
• Nanomaterials synthesis and characterization
• Experience in device development or gas sensing

Following project completion and based on  satisfactory performance, the candidate may have the opportunity to convert the JRF position into the Institute Ph.D. Programme as per institute norms

2) Postdoctoral Positions

The Nanobiosensors and Biodevices Laboratory invites applications from highly motivated postdoctoral researchers interested in electrochemical biosensors, microfluidic-integrated diagnostic devices, nanomaterials engineering, and translational sensing technologies. Candidates may apply through national fellowships (e.g., NPDF) or the Institute Postdoctoral Programme. Interested applicants are encouraged to contact us with their CV and research interests.


3) Ph.D. Positions

Ph.D. positions are available in the Nanobiosensors and Biodevices Laboratory for candidates interested in biosensor device development, electrochemical sensing, microfabrication, microfluidics integration, and functional nanomaterials for healthcare diagnostics and environmnetal monitoring . Eligible candidates with GATE/CSIR-UGC JRF/INSPIRE or equivalent fellowships are encouraged to apply through the Institute admission portal and contact us for further information.


4) Internship Opportunities

The Nanobiosensors and Biodevices Laboratory welcomes applications from enthusiastic undergraduate and postgraduate students seeking hands-on research experience in biosensor development and advanced sensing technologies. Interns will gain practical exposure to device fabrication, electrochemical characterization, nanomaterials synthesis, microfluidic integration, and real-time diagnostic applications.
